During the first eight years of school, your child is constantly growing – physically, mentally and emotionally. It’s a critical time when kids are learning who they are and discovering what they want to be.
At Good Shepherd, we focus our efforts exclusively on these lower and middle school years. Our curriculum is designed to challenge children intellectually while fostering a love of learning by giving them the freedom to explore and express themselves individually. And our culture – free from the pressure and influences of high school – helps kids develop the confidence and courage not only to choose their own path, but to embrace change when their time at Good Shepherd is complete.
We firmly believe this combination gives our students a distinct edge. At the end of eight years, they emerge with a strong sense of self, ready to seek out the high school experience that’s the best fit for them personally. Naturally, this first major transition is made easier with the support of their families and the familiar surroundings of home. So when it’s time for a change once again and they go away to college, they’re well prepared both emotionally and academically to take that next step with confidence.
