Office Assistant

Good Shepherd Episcopal School is seeking an Office Assistant to support our Front Office, Library, and Office of Admission. The assistant duties include greeting, directing, and managing visitors, promptly answering all phone calls, checking in and shelving library books, and clerical work for the Office of Admission. This position requires a bachelor's degree, work experience in a school environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership and facilitation skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Operating System is preferred.

Parent’s Day Out (PDO) Support Teacher

Good Shepherd Episcopal School is seeking an individual to join a collaborative team environment as a part time support teacher in their Parents' Day Out Infant and Toddler program. This person should be a dependable, responsible, sensitive, and mature individual who relates well to both children and adults. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional with an astute understanding of the developmental needs of young children and how they learn. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, be able to lift 40 pounds, move freely with children and pass basic requirements for Texas DFPS Child Care Licensing. General responsibilities would include: maintaining a positive and adaptable attitude while caring for children’s physical, social, cognitive, and emotional needs through implementing lesson plans that address all areas of development as well as maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating environment. A high school diploma is required. However, a college degree in Education or related field, teaching experience in early childhood, and a familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach is preferred.

Extended Day Program Teacher
Good Shepherd Episcopal School is searching for a teacher with experience to work in the extended day program. This qualified person would work from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on school days. The job responsibilities are greeting parents, supervising small groups of students in various activities daily including assigned reading, homework, crafts, and outdoor/indoor play.
